Competition Rules:

  • Team size limited to maximum 2 participants only
  • Select a team name and register to this event
  • All teams must submit final marketing plan before deadline (January 2nd 2009 6.00 PM)
  • Top 5 teams will be selected to present their marketing plan on Friday Jan 9th 2009 (venue: Santa Clara University)
  • Winner will be declared on Friday Jan 16th 2009 during the info session event (venue: Santa Clara University)

All Contestants (and each team member) must agree to the rules, regulations, terms and conditions of the Marketing Plan Competition in order to participate.

Each Contestant (and each team’s members) must agree to the rules, regulations, terms and conditions of the Competition, including without limitation, that: the Marketing Plan Competition and its sponsors have the sole right to alter, amend, or supplement at any time and from time to time the rules, regulations, terms and conditions regarding the Marketing Plan Competition; all decisions regarding the Marketing Plan Competition, including the selection of the Competition winner, are in the sole discretion and judgment of the Marketing Plan Competition whose decisions in each case are final and unappealable; each Contestant shall release and hold harmless the Marketing Plan Competition, its Sponsors, Selection Committee, Participants, and all others associated with or assisting with the Marketing Plan Competition from any and all matters regarding the Marketing Plan Competition.

All Marketing plans should address the consumer PND market space or products from our sponsoring company MagellanGPS (Visit their website at for product details)

Contestants must submit their (>10 pages < 15 pages) final Marketing Plan to the Marketing Plan Competition at moc.reggirtmaet|maet#moc.reggirtmaet|maet by 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 2nd, 2008 to participate in this year’s Marketing Competition. The Marketing Plan Committee reserves the right not to accept any late entries. Finalists will give an oral presentation on their Marketing plans to the Marketing Plan Competition’s Selection Committee on Friday, January 9th, 2009

All Marketing Plans must be the original work of the entering individual or team. Absolutely no software generated marketing plans will be accepted.

If there are no acceptable Marketing Plans, the Marketing Plan Competition in its sole discretion reserves the right to declare no winner and to not award the prize package to any Contestant.
